Approach

How a matter is brought before the House.

Three pathways, each received in the same manner: privately, by name, and without obligation on either side.

Owners and Families

You do not need to arrive with a decision already made. The first conversation may concern whether to retain, renew, transfer or sell a residence—or how to coordinate a change that involves more than one home.

  • Preparation
  • Entrustment
  • Continuity
  • The correct path before exposure

Lawyers, Notaries, Banks and Trusted Advisers

Trusted advisers may introduce a residence matter that requires a continuing point of coordination. D. GOLDENBERG FRÈRES ET CIE works alongside the appointed professionals; it does not replace their responsibilities or assume their authority.

  • Coordination
  • A single point of reference
  • Disciplined preparation
  • Alignment among parties

Commercial Property Matters

Where a family also owns commercial property, D. GOLDENBERG FRÈRES ET CIE may retain the principal relationship while commercial transaction preparation or execution is separately entrusted to DGF & Co Capital Services GmbH or another appropriately appointed specialist adviser. D. GOLDENBERG FRÈRES ET CIE remains responsible for the coherence of the entrusted private relationship. The appointed commercial executor remains responsible for its defined mandate. Commercial real estate is not a public focus of D. GOLDENBERG FRÈRES ET CIE and is not presented through the Private Office website as public inventory.

  • Relationship retained
  • Execution coordinated
  • Specialist adviser appointed

A person enquiring about a particular residence should contact the selling agent identified in that matter's Edition or authorised material. D. GOLDENBERG FRÈRES ET CIE does not receive or qualify buyer enquiries.

Disclosure follows responsibility

Information is introduced according to role — not curiosity.

D. GOLDENBERG FRÈRES ET CIE does not maintain a public inventory of residences, mandates or private opportunities. Nor does admission to one matter create visibility into another.

The principal relationship is established first. The purpose, scope, relevant parties and professional responsibilities are then defined. Only afterwards is information introduced to a bank, lawyer, notary, valuer, surveyor, appointed agent, prospective counterparty or other recipient whose role requires it.

Each recipient receives only the material appropriate to the responsibility for which that recipient has been approved. Access may be limited, recorded, time-bound and withdrawn when no longer required.

Selective disclosure is not a marketing device. It protects the residence, the principal, the appointed professionals and the integrity of the entrusted process.

The sequence of access

  1. I

    Public Understanding

The responsibilities, method and institutional boundaries of the House may be understood publicly.

  2. II

    Private Introduction

A principal, trusted adviser or introducer provides sufficient context for the House to consider whether the matter may belong within its responsibility.

  3. III

    Qualification

Relevance, identity, authority, conflicts, seriousness and the intended role are established before sensitive information is requested or disclosed.

  4. IV

    Defined Entrustment

Scope, responsibility, professional appointments, disclosure boundaries and information handling are constituted through the accepted mandate.

  5. V

    Mandate-Specific Access

An approved recipient may be admitted to the particular Reading Room and material required for that recipient's defined role.

Access to one mandate never constitutes access to the House's other matters.

Owners and Families · Residence Transition Planning

Where a family is moving from one principal residence to another, the acquisition, the final payment and the sale of the existing residence rarely align in time. The House coordinates that passage as one matter, and begins before the mismatch becomes urgent.

Residence Transition Planning →

Before work begins

Each engagement has a defined purpose, scope, responsibilities and remuneration agreed in writing. Professional appointments and additional expenditure are identified before the relevant work is commissioned. An initial review does not, by itself, authorise marketing or commit the owner to a transaction.

Initial introductions are received personally by Dawid Solomon Goldenberg.

Private Correspondence

From time to time, D. GOLDENBERG FRÈRES ET CIE issues private institutional correspondence concerning residences approaching transition, renewal, transfer or a new chapter. Correspondence is sent selectively and by relevance.
